Trump supporters don't claim morons like this. We blame the education system that was changed by the Democrats. You know, the "no child left behind act and then Common Core" generation. Sorry Raven_GB, Nice try though

Miss KKK has complained in her comments on other posts that the Left never comes to a debate armed with facts.

Did any of them say "we here " like in your other blog? That sounded like a very accomplished person, was he the historian?

Yes, Bush signed it into law in 1993, however, the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCL was the previous re-authorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965. Passed by Congress in 2001 with clear bipartisan support, NCLB was signed into law by President George W. Bush in January of 2002. .

Actually it was re-authorized by Bush from the 1965 Congress. Do your research please.

I actually didn't vote for Trump, but people on this post make me want to vote a million times for him. The hate you have for someone who actually loves America, who actually was making America prosper again just shows that Liberals only care about a party affiliation and not about their Country or the actual people living here. Thanks for the continued hypocrisy that is shown from the Left and why those of us that sat on the fence when voting have jumped to the right.

you only prove the rights points every single time. You can't even do your homework to find out that the No Child Left Behind Act was a RE-AUTHORIZATION from a Democrat President in 1965.

"No Child Left Behind was authored and introduced to congress by John Boehner and promoted and signed into law by George W. Bush in 2002."

Absolutely correct.

it's absolutely true that the "no child left behind" nonsense was an extension of the elementary and secondary education act. (it's also true that several congresses have passed extensions to this act.) it's also true that NCLB passed with bipartisan support.

it was also met with bipartisan ridicule and had bipartisan detractors.

it's also true that what was so controversial about NCLB was that it introduced a standardized testing regimen into the discussion. you don't get your funding unless your students pass the test.

and that in turn led to what was known in george w. bush's texas (and later, his america) as "teaching to the test." so, you had a generation of students who were taught how to pass the test, but not the full extent of the course syllabus. indeed, test scores rose, even as the students went out into the world unprepared to face the challenges the course supposedly prepared them for.

passing the test doesn't mean the students know anything or have learned anything outside of the narrow scope of the test.

the testing standard was a bush (the younger) innovation modeled after his experience in texas and that aspect of NCLB is owned by that republican administration. again, it was modeled after what GWB did in texas. and let's be clear: the "teaching to the test" provision was not in the original elementary and secondary education act.

"reauthorizing" legislation is done all the time, but it's not like a sourdough starter or a yogurt culture that reproduces itself. each time legislation is "reauthorized," the current congress has the liberty to add, subtract and reimagine it... often so that it no longer resembles the original legislation.

You are a Trump supporter? What do you see in him. What do all Trump supporters see in him? I don't get it.

Betsy DeVos? She's the billionaire Republican that is destroying public education with cuts, personal attacks and rollbacks. Can any republican think or talk for themselves? Must they start every sentence with "trump says" instead of "Simon says" really?

You are so spot on. You also give me a chuckle on this stuff. Dumb ass Trumpery. You I would love to take to dinner, drink with and tell stores with. Have a hunch you are as cute as you are intelligent.
