while my past experiences in the campsites at some motor race venues in my camper trailer support your theory, I'm sure there must be some cases of crime involved at campsites. Mayhaps its just no ones produced any figures on the subject.

Ironically though, last nite before reading this, I watched that crime doco on the tele about the country couple in Victoria who went camping and were supposedly abducted only after they were found it soon came to light it was an elaborate hoax perpetrated by the boyfriend simply to obtained the sexual favours he'd been denied. It's a crazy world is it not?

On June 27, 2018, a father camping with his two daughters at Campsite 51 in Malibu Creek State Park in California was shot and killed in his tent by a survivalist.

I suppose as well if you are going "proper" camping your only taking the essentials for the trip, your not going to be taking really valuable stuff with you! Maybe a camera or similar so people assume you haven't got much to rob!

Be patient. Given the vast and alarming increase in the number of knife attacks in London in the last 5 years, it will only be a matter of time before these zealots realize the plethora of soft targets to be found at camp sites and bring their violence to the vacuum. This, too, is an attack on our culture and lifestyle.

I was recently thinking of a similar issue - which I will not mention - involving an obvious vulnerability at concert events. Like the fog that blinded the Titanic; a slow, relentless evil cloud is encroaching ... and continues to ... while hiding the peril following behind it ...

( Ha. Not what you wanted to read, I'm sure. )

It happens at campsites on the Appalachian Trail. One was not too far from here a number of years ago

My Sexy Soul Sister A TENT CITY campground as you describe is in close proximity to other campers and does not offer the privacy of a victim isolated in a house at the mercy of a nefarious intruder .... Observations from a Tranny BIMBO

I've found that camping involves taking the bare essentials and usually pitching tent next to others ....... nothing much worth having and the ultimate in Neighbourhood Watch all around you.

Without the rich pickings or privacy, your average perp is going to think otherwise.
