The Control Book - Discuss

The Control Book by Peter Masters tables some great questions for further consideration. The group is here to discuss his points and share ideas. I have no association with or even know Peter Masters - I am just an admirer of his work. I cannot recommend "The Control Book" enough.This book has given me insights into my sub's mind and into mine that I could not have worked out in years. I now see endless clues as to what she has been consciously and unconsciously asking of me for quite some time. It is all about the transfer of control and what happens when I - the master - fail to pick up the gift of submission or fail to understand what to do with it once I have it. How the disappointment that the failure to handle being the master causes in the sub and how they start to work out coping mechanisms that could so easily be avoided. I just shared some of this with my sub on Skype (she is away in the USA as I write this) and the smile of pleasure that she gave me as she understood that I was beginning to understand her needs (and mine) was wonderful to see. |
