By participating in the ALT.com Points Program, you agree to the following rules:
These rules may be amended at any time by ALT.com Any amendment(s) will be posted on the ALT.com Points Program Rules page and will not affect retroactively any points earned by a member. ALT.com may also, at its option, email to its members any amendment(s) to these rules.
In order to redeem prize points, you must verify your identification using ConfirmID. This service is free to all members of ALT.com
The number of points awarded for a given activity is described on the points page. The number of points awarded may be changed at any time and without notice. Any changes made to the points structure, including number of points given per activity, will not affect retroactively any points earned by a member.
ALT.com reserves the right to terminate the points program at any time, for any reason and without cause.
The number of points a member is eligible to earn may be different based upon whether that member is standard or premium (i.e., gold).
ALT.com at its sole discretion, reserves the right to deny the awarding of points to any member whose conduct is either fraudulent or in any other way violates these rules or ALT.com #39;s Terms of Use, e.g., member signs up (a) fake membership(s).
Unless otherwise mentioned herein, any disputes regarding these rules, including, but not limited to, any interpretation of these rules, any remedies, etc., shall be governed by the ALT.com Terms of Use.

So the rules now say, that a user must put their personal information into the confirmID system, when the owner is known both to steal from ALT users credit cards and commit identity theft fraud using ALT users details.

How do ALT users feel about these terms?

How can ALT rules be so completely unfair to users?

For example by the letter of the rules;

When one user wants to gift or tip another user points, ALT reserves the right to remove points from the gift via the tipping system and change the amount given to be "variable" and always remove 90% or more from the points amount, than what is intended to be sent by one user to another.

In what way is this system of point removal fair to any user of the site?
